Idea

This is a video campaign project for my final exam, created for MTV’s fictional new programme called MTV Remix.
The idea is to visualize a process of remixing in a straightforward way. A fairly old song remixed in the a futuristic yet modern device convey the original spirit of remix culture itself.

Production

Directed, shot, edited, and composited by me.
Shot on a 7D, with 18-200mm lens.

The sound you heard as the backing track, is my short electro remix from Metallica’s classic intro “Enter Sandman”. You can download the song on my Soundcloud.

This is a super short animation (less than 10 secs) that I created for personal project. I challenge myself to deal with the whole animation production workflow in the correct order. Every step is done by me.

Process

Production

Modeling the VW and the briefcase; animating; rendering (separating the original renders and diffuse/shadow/light renders). Done in Maya.

Post-Production

Combining original renders with diffuse/light/shadow renders, adding dust, color grading, small retouching here and there. Did the scoring as well, combining music and sound effects. Done in After Effects.

A short fragment done for college project. The challenge here is to shot in an quite narrow room, with only one sided flat background. The other side of the room is, well, a room. Since this is an intense dialogue scene, what we did is shooting the first person first, then we flip the set all over and shoot the second person.
There is a fun green screen shot for computer screen to be replaced by some kind of a futuristic interface sort-of-thing which I call “The Sinner Scanner”. It is a software that has one big database of human’s sins from all over the world.

Premise

In afterlife, a sinner was questioning his rights to enter heaven.
