The goal was to tell the amazing story of Mozilla Firefox, our users and how one browser can build a brighter future for the Web. The brief was to create a video ad or story (a “flick”) that helps Mozilla to tell the story of Firefox.
Mozilla wants the world to know more about what makes Firefox different: that we’re a non-profit organization aimed at keeping the power of the Web in people’s hands.
The main concept is hybrid of creation and control, as a purpose of showing the mutual connection between Firefox and its users. Firefox is a workmanship from its users. It’s the users and community that shape and build Firefox to be what it is today. That’s why, Firefox gives back what internet users should earn in their online experience: control.
Shot using Canon 7D + Canon 24-70L f2.8. The shooting was quite fun – I finally had a reason to paint my nails orange.
For the narration, I got the chance to work with a talented voice over artist Warren Reid. I wrote the script based on Firefox’s brand promise. The focus here is to lead the user to believe that Firefox puts its users on top of everything – that Firefox listens to no one but you.
